Phillippi Creek Village Restaurant & Oyster Bar has been providing the hungry citizens of Florida with quality seafood for over a decade. We offer waterfront dining at affordable prices and 100% taste. Everything in our kitchen comes from local fisherman, guaranteeing same-day freshness and flavor.
Here at Phillippi Creek, we pride ourselves in providing top-quality, chemically unaltered seafood that would make our ancestors proud. That’s because we’re directly descended from Fernando D. Phillippi, a 17th century explorer who sailed the creek of Bee Ridge until he settled down and founded Phillipi with all the knowledge of his travels.
Phillippi disappeared in 1619 during a search for oysters, but we’ve made it our mission to carry on his legacy. Our menu incorporates everything from oyster to crab to clam, cooked to perfection and arranged with your choice of veggies and sides.
Here are just a few dishes you can expect from our establishment:
Platters – Choose between fried, baked and steamed seafood platters with your choice of fries, potatoes or rice. Seafood available by pound or half-pound, so don’t worry about getting your fill! All platters also include complimentary hush puppies and coleslaw.
Sandwiches – Whether you’re looking for a hearty cheeseburger or a good old-fashioned tuna salad sandwich, we serve every bite to perfection with chips, garnish and a soft sesame seed bun.
Soups and Sides – Loosen your belt with our generous appetizers, like buffalo winds, crab cakes and peel-&-eat Maryland shrimp. We also have salad plates for vegetarians and chicken and lobster fettuccini for the pasta buffs. With our side dishes, your only regret will be moving on to the main meal!
If you’re looking for the best seafood in Florida, stop by Phillipi Creek Restaurant for a meal you’ll never forget. We’re open every day at 11am and don’t close our doors until well after nightfall. Our food is fresh, our service impeccable, and our legacy undeniable.
And if you ever hear a distant cry of “oysters, more oysters!” then you’ll know it’s just good old Phillippi ghosting the creek.
